12 Tags of 2013 - March

This is my take on Tim Holtz's Tags of 2013!

FWF

Okay, I know, another "Easier With You by My Side" stamped card! Can you tell it is my favorite? I started riding horses when I was 5 and my sister (for whom this card was made) was my coach. She shared her little barrel racer, Sugar B, with me. She would show her in the barrel race and other games and I would show her in the "Gentlest Horse" class where we crawled all over them and the horses would just stand there! So my sister and I share a special bond - horses. This had to be her birthday card!

I used Copics and Distress Ink. I believe the patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket "Wanted". The die is "Nesting Label" from QuicKutz.

Thanks so much for the big bag of stamps that Unity sent me for choosing my comment last week!!!! A huge prize!!!!

EASTER!

I love my Pop N Cuts die! I used Karen Burniston's brand new die that will be out in June. I used Tim Holtz's Mini Bunny & Bow set, Sizzlet Grass decorative strip, Sizzix embossing folder, Stephanie Bernard's Easter Framelits & Stamps, QuicKutz Nesting Label, Spellbinder's clouds, Silhouette's Happy Easter, Echo Park paper "Little Girl", inks and cardstock from stash.

Unity's Friends with Flair

This week's entry for FWF is a Sizzix (by Karen Burniston) Pop N Cuts die card. I love an interactive card and these are so fun to embellish. I used "Emma's Shoppe" patterned paper by Crate Paper, Memento ink, Copics, Imaginisce flags, dies from Sizzix (Love Set) and QuicKutz (Nesting Label), and, of course, Unity's stamps from "Moments to Remember"!

Cards for Guys

My three brothers-in-law have birthdays during the first 10 days of April so I use this time to explore the more masculine patterned paper and card designs. Okay, I used this design because I couldn't wait to try the Double High 3D Accordion Album  -  see this "How To" - Double High Accordion Album
(I am determined to learn how to make a link out of a URL and how to make a watermark!)

You have got to love Karen Burniston!  She is a  genius!

The first two are made with Echo Parks This & That Charming by Lori Whitlock.
The last one is October Afternoon's Sassaparilla.
I love learning new techniques! Enjoy!

March Birthday

I love this patterned paper - "Blush" from Basic Grey. I used a Sizzix flip-it die by Stephanie Barnard and Unity's "It's Your Day" set.
